In the future, people go into a virtual reality universe to have a party. I was a VFX Supervisor for this project. I did on-set VFX supervising and managed a team of CG/VFX Artists to deliver the entire music video. The backgrounds for almost the whole video are full CG, and we only had a couple of weeks to finish them, so we worked very hard on this with a limited time we had
Skyline and Neon Sign Shot
I 3D tracked, composited the futuristic buildings and roto the foreground. Also we replaced the neon future sign
Glitch Wave Shot
I created the 3D environment and used projection mapping. I keyed the green screen footage and composited them together. I also added glitch elements by using the Z-depth pass to distort the image like a wave coming from far toward the camera.
