Higher Power Previs
In this shot, Joe loses control over his super power, and his body forces the car and its surroundings to get crushed and gravitated toward him. He bursts out of the car and keeps flying through buildings, forests, etc toward the city. I did previs for this shot. I animated the main character bursting out of the car and flying through buildings and trees. I made the car, fences, poles, etc get crushed and gravitated to him. I did dynamics simulation for the building destruction.
In this shot following the car crash, Joe keeps flying and enters a tunnel. He still doesn't have control over his power. He almost hits a car driving in a tunnel. I animated him struggling not to hit anyone. He rips parts of the cars and tunnels as he tries to dodge people.
Higher Power
The world is at risk and it's up to one man to save it. A mad scientist has to go through the DNA of the population of the earth to find someone to do the job. The needed hero turns out to be a former alcoholic called Joe who has an anger problem and two estranged daughters called Zoe and Rhea. Joe then finds himself in the hands of the mad scientist. The experimental work that the scientist does on Joe equips him with some kind of electromagnetic power that could either save the world or if not, destroy it. Joe gains superhuman strength and must learn how to control it.
